Just today I read a good article in Rhode Islands weekly called The Providence Phoenix.
In this artcile the author Peter Keough is a film buff and he talks about how Hollywood is trying to give us and root us all into conspiracy theories and working in their paranoid style movies.
he even says that movies such as harry potter and the half blood prince are very much like the conspiracy theories, but he says it goes back to the beginning. Right after WWI. Right now he says the movies that are out such as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, G.I. Joe, G-Force, tRANSformers involve paranoid conspiracy, and those are just for the kids... he comments.

After WWI humiliated Germany came out with The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari (1920). Where a carnival mesmerist of the title has been murdering people by means of a somnambulist whose mind he controls. Is he an all powerful criminal, or the guy who suspects him who is insane? The movie has it both ways, the author writes.
Next is Fritz Langs Dr. Mabuse the Gambler, where it is about mind control.
Then Hollywood picks it up with Invasion of the Body Snatchers, John Frankenheimers The Manchurian Candidate is another mind-control theory about government. But as the author writes that "Gordon B.
